Casino Royale

My husband and I managed to go out and see a movie (don't fall over in shock like we did when we actually found out we had a babysitter). I chose to watch the latest Bond film in the big screen as opposed to all the other offerings out. It was certainly enjoyable, and I do like Daniel Craig as the new Bond. It's also nice to see a couple of Aston Martins on the big screen, too.

Singing

My children didn't believe that supercalifragilisticexpialidocious was a word, so we watched Mary Poppins in two halves over the past two evenings. To finish off the experience, I watched the Sound of Music after the kids had gone to bed and subsequently have been singing songs from both movies all day today. Sol do la fa mi do re, so do la ti do re do! Fun stuff.

Shot in the Dark

Second Pink Panther film was also rather amusing because of the introduction of Kato, Inspector Clouseau's PA. I also watched National Treasure - another movie with Sean Bean as a bad guy. Interesting but totally predictable film. In other news, we've signed a rental contract with a new place to live - same village as Mark's school, which means no more driving to school! YAY! Perhaps another Pink Panther movie tonight to celebrate.
