Forced my husband to watch this film to give him some background to watch the rest of them. Still had me in first of laughter at some parts. :-)

Patriot Games

I'd read the book just as the movie was coming out, so I avoided watching it. I don't remember the book now (14 years later), so I watched the movie to see Sean Bean as a bad guy. It doesn't work. He's still Richard Sharpe to me! Last one of this batch of three is Goldeneye.

Princess Diaries 2

Wasn't as good as the first (duh), but it was entertainingly cringeful. Now for Patriot Games or Goldeneye.

Bale and Bean

I watched 'Equilibrium' last night. Wow! I certainly recommend it. I didn't manage to predict all the twists in the plot, and the movie certainly kept me on my toes. Nice topic to consider for discussion as well. Only movie left to watch is to 'Gladiator' (before I get the other three films sent to me).

The Patriot

I watched 'The Patriot' last night, and it had the predictable ending I expected. Nice to watch if you like typical movies and don't want to be surprised. The surprise came at 2am when my daughter showed she had caught the lastest tummy bug. Blergh. We're hoping the rest of us avoid it.

I've had a bit of hiatus, but I did see the first Gunslinger Girl DVD, which was faithful to the manga. I watched 'The Princess Diaries' and enjoyed it. I also watched 'Brother Bear' last night. Entertaining enough, I suppose. I have 'Patriot,' 'Equilibrium' and 'Gladiator' to watch.
