More Sean Bean

I forgot to mention that I watched "Blazing Saddles" one night while in DC. I thought it was hilarious, but it's not for everyone.

I watched three more Sharpe films - Sharpe's Battle, Sharpe's Sword and Sharpe's Regiment. They're getting more complex and better as each one goes. Only six left!

X-Men

I finally saw "X-Men" last night. Interesting. I have no background in the storyline, so it was all new to me. Don't know if we're going to see the second tonight or not. I enjoyed it - wasn't scary or anything. I like the character they've chosen for Rogue. She reminds me of Damia.

movie!

I just returned from seeing Superman Returns. I enjoyed it. It was free (for me). I'd recommend it if someone wants to see a pleasant movie. I can actually say I liked Kevin Spacey in this movie. Maybe I'm getting him confused with someone else that I loathe - Sean Penn. I think I am. Anyway, I liked the movie. The new Superman is pretty cute.

Even more Sharpe!

Yes, it's even more Sharpe tales. I've seen a few of them now, and I enjoy them still. There are fourteen in all, so be prepared for more to come. I haven't seen any other films, but we did get the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on DVD as well as March of the Penguins. The kids have watched the following Veggie Tales - Madame Blueberry, Dave and the Giant Pickle, and LarryBoy and the Fib from OuterSpace. They've enjoyed them all and it gives us a nice alternative to Disney or other animated stuff.
